| I was looking at VP Racing Fuels Website about the various unleaded fuel they make and had a couple questions. First, would the MotorSports 109 be the highest VP race fuel that could be ran in a TTZ. Would this be the best / optimal fuel? They mention it handles up to 11:1 which we are well below. Second, they mention their new StreetBlaze 103 that has a motor octane of 99 and is the highest street legal fuel. I also see they have a MotorSports 103 (with the same 99 motor octane) so is there any difference between them or did they just re-invent the same gas and give it a new name due to marketing? Third, I have heard what is important is the motor octane and not the other octane levels (ie research octane, etc). What is the difference between them when comparing motor, research, and also "R+M/2" which I assume is some type of octane rating also. Fourth, for us CA people, they mention the use of MTBE's which I believe CA did away with a couple years ago (CLICK HERE). I could not find any concrete information on whether CA completely restricts the use of MTBE's in fuel when it comes to race fuel, or if it is still allowed. Is MTBE still allowed/restricted in off-road race fuel. Any info? BTW, if you live in CA, here are are some VP distributors in each SCal county: San Bernardino Petrus Mini Mart at 909-880-1549 Tom Morgan Racing at 909-889-3010 Riverside Denton Racing at 951-361-3900 Malcolm Smith Motorsports at 951-687-1300 Orange Mckenzies Off Road at 714-441-1212 Champion Motorsports at 949-642-4343 Los Angeles Hot Rod Performance at 310-782-9200 WestSide Performance at 310-820-4718 San Deigo Counties ASA Racing at 619-582-6415
